入会申し込み／Membership application

入会申し込みは、会員登録サイト（https://jaste.shikuminet.jp/members/pre/?user_type=1）よりお手続きください。手続き終了後、「新規会員登録受付完了のご案内」というタイトルのメールが【システム用メールアドレス】として登録したアドレス宛に送信されます。このメールが受信されない場合や、または会員登録サイトでのお手続きに問題がある場合は、下記の会員管理窓口までお問い合わせください。

日本熱帯生態学会賞「吉良賞」／

“Kira Award”, Japan Society of Tropical Ecology

吉良竜夫初代会長のコスモス国際賞受賞を記念して設けられた学会賞で、現在、奨励賞と特別賞を設けています。奨励賞は学会誌に掲載された論文を中心に審査し毎年2名を上限として授与します。 特別賞は熱帯研究においてとくに顕著な功績のあった個人および団体を対象として、毎年1名または1件を上限に授与します。

 

吉良賞推薦手続きについて

会員からの推薦（自薦を含む）をもとに選考委員会が選考を行います。推薦希望の方は毎年2月末までに学会事務局宛に必要書類を送付してください。推薦についての詳細は選考規定をご覧ください。

 

The Japan Society for Tropical Ecology creates the Kira Award to promote and advance further development of tropical research in commemoration for the first director Dr. Tatsuo Kira and his winning of the International Cosmos Prize. Kira Award has two categories: Outstanding Young Researcher Award and Distinguished Achievement and Contribution Award.

 

Outstanding Young Researcher Award shall be presented to JASTE members who have published prominent tropical research.

Distinguished Achievement and Contribution Award shall be presented to an individual or a group identified as having made a particular contribution to the science of concern to tropical research.

 

The Kira Award shall be on nomination basis, including self-nomination. Nomination must be submitted to the JASTE President and Secretariat by the end of February every year with the following supporting documents.

Application for Workshop Grants

日本熱帯生態学会では、会員からの申請により、熱帯研究に関連するワークショップの開催費用の助成を行っています。1件につき15万円程度の助成を行います。学会事務局までご連絡ください。

 

The Japanese Society of Tropical Ecology (JASTE) provides grants for workshops related to tropical research upon application from its members, with a grant of about 150,000 yen per workshop. Please contact the Society Secretariat.

JASTE Young Member's Innovation Committee

日本熱帯生態学会若手イノベーション委員会 発足趣旨/Introduction

 

このたび、学会としてより効果的な若手支援事業を行うため、学会規約細則第13条に基づき、若手会員により構成される「若手イノベーション委員会」を設置しました。今後は本委員会を中心として、若手会員の研究活動の支援、本学会の活性化につながるような事業を企画、実行したいと考えておりますので、ご支援のほどよろしくお願い致します。

We are happy to announce that we have established our new committee, "Young Member's Innovation Committee". It consists of young JASTE researchers and aims to plan and organize activities and events for supporting research activities of early-career researchers and students in JASTE.

若手イノベーション委員会

JASTEでは、若手会員の研究活動を支援することを目的として少額の研究助成を行っています。助成期間中（通常、4月1日～3月31日）に行われる調査や学会参加などが対象となります。

応募締め切りは、通常、2月28日です。詳細は例年1月に配布される募集要項を参照してください。

多くの応募をお待ちしています。

​JASTE has established research grants for young researchers to support their research activities. It supports research activities including field surveys and participation in conferences that will take place from 1st April to 31st March, each year. The application deadline is 28th February each year.

For details, please refer to the application guidelines distributed in January each year.
